Our Horse Healers

Each of our Horse Healers brings their own personalities to the programs we provide. They are the true "therapists" and teachers!
Duster

Duster is a Medicine Hat Paint.  He embodies wisdom and is wonderful with those who appear fearful.  His gentle way and great kisses wins many hearts.

Polaris

Polaris is a Friesian whose origins come from Germany.  He is loved and owned by Deb Rasmussen.  His specialty is working with teenagers.  He has a large presence with rockstar looks.  Must be why the teenagers love him!

Eve

Eve is a Leopard Appaloosa with a real "Mommy" personality.  Her natural instinct to nurture and protect is amazing.   She easily adjusts to whatever the client and situation is.

Butterball

Butterball is our rock steady Haflinger.  His size and stout built makes for a perfect hippotherapy horse.  He is loved and owned by the Kasap family whose daughter, Jamie is his very special child.  Butterball is a favorite for our autistic clients.

His Nibs

His Nibs is the smallest of our horses, standing at 10.2 hands.  He is a Pony of America or POA pony.  His personality is much, much bigger then his stature.  He excels in equine facilitated psychotherapy and learning.  He is always up for a challenge but at the same time can be sensitive to the younger clients.  He has been referred to as the "Joe Pesce" of the herd.

Denver

Denver is an All American Quarter Horse.  He is loved and owned by Josie Graham.  His great looks and laidback attitude makes him a favorite with our military veterans.  He encourages those who partner with him to step out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves.

Apache

Welcome Apache! He is of the Arabian breed and our newest member of our Healing Horse Therapy Center herd.  He is loved and owned by Andy and Julie Frame.  Apache has a very curious and little boy wonder about him.  His very handsome boy looks makes him a favorite with the young ladies!
